Use this procedure when you only want a single Restricted Group to view or use a component.  You must be logged in as a Site Manager to perform this procedure.

  1. Navigate to a page where the component to which you want to restrict access is displayed.
  2. Click the Security button above the component view.  The Component Editor window opens.
  3. In the Component Access section, change Anonymous Access to No Access and change Open Access to No Access.  In the Group Access section, change the Restricted Group you wish to have access to View (or Add, Edit or Delete if you want the members of the group to be able to change things in the component).  Make sure all other groups do not have any access specified (select the blank line from the dropdown list).
  4. Click Submit.  The Component Editor window disappears.
