Traverse Area Community Media LogoTraverse Area Community Media at LIAA is northwest Lower Michigan's only public- and government-access television station and online streaming source. Using state-of-the-art technology, we teach people how to use media to celebrate local culture, share community information, and provide educational content for the world to see.

Through our channels you can find local content that highlights some of northern Michigan's most notable events -- such as the National Cherry Festival and the Traverse City Film Festival -- in addition to viewing local government meetings for several jurisdictions throughout the region. You can search our content via our website if you missed it on-air. We offer classes and equipment for local producers, an in-house studio, video production and editing, live webstreaming capabilities, and hands-on assistance. New producers and partners are always welcome!

Core media expertise includes:

  • Video and audio production skills and equipment
  • Inclusion of volunteers in many projects
  • Training for all aspects of video production
  • Management of workflow for meeting recordings from multiple jurisdictions
