If you can view Form Results data, then you can download it as a spreadsheet for backup, further analysis, or use in other applications.

  1. Log in with your Editor or Site Manager account.
  2. Visit the page where the Form is displayed and click the Results button at the top of Form view (if you are a Site Manager, you can visit My Profile > Form Manager, then click the Data link next to the Form Component you are interested in). The Form Report window appears.
  3. To download, in the left column, click Download This Data. The data are downloaded in Comma Separated Values (CSV) format. If you have Excel or another spreadsheet program installed on your computer, the downloaded file should load automatically into this software.
  4. Close the Form Report window.

Note: If your data contains numbers, or text in the form of numbers such as Zip Codes or Phone Numbers, you may want to download the CSV file, open an empty Excel spreadsheet, then use the Get Data tools to import the CSV file. This allows you to specify the data type of each field making your data more useful.
