LIAA's Classroom
LIAA offers a wide variety of hands-on educational opportunities in our classroom. Classes focus on empowering persons to know more about and/or work with community information. We have class offerings available for several audiences, which are described below.

Our classroom seats 16, has 8 internet-enabled student computers and one teacher computer with large monitors, and the teacher’s computer monitor can be projected at the front of the room. The classroom is available for rental for your class, event or working session. Please call 231-929-3696 or email info@liaa.org for more information.

Classes for Community Center Software Users

Communities that are building web sites using our Community Center software can benefit from our series of classes for Community Center editors, advanced editors and site managers.

Classes for Professionals and Officials

We offer technical and enrichment courses for GIS professionals, local government officials, community activists, realtors and anyone else interested in really digging in to the wide range of geographic data and tools available.
