UpNorthTV High School Film Contest Open through May 2, 2016

UpNorthTV channel 189 is hosting a film contest just for Northern Michigan high school juniors and seniors at Traverse City's State Theatre on Sunday, May 8.

All entries must be received by Monday, May 2. It's a great opportunity for students to see their work on the wonderful big screen it was intended for. We will be vetting the entries and up to eight films will be entered in the contest. The two top prize winners will get the chance to work on a real film set with local filmmaker Rich Brauer. There is also a $200 Audience Choice Prize based on an audience vote.

Our three wonderful judges are Rich Brauer, Jeff Gibbs and Meg Weichman.

We're looking to get the word out as soon as possible so students have as much time as possible to work on films. Again, all entries must be received by May 2. Students can enter on the UpNorthTV website, UpNorthTV.org. Click for Contest Link
