Dropdown menus can have any number of sub-menus and sub-menu levels.  However, more that two or three levels will be difficult for users to navigate.

Log in to your Community Center web site using a Site Manager account.  Once you are logged in:

  1. Click My Profile.  The Login window appears.
  2. Scroll down to the Site Manager Component Tools section, then click Menu Editor.  The Menu Editor window appears.
  3. If you have not done so already, you must create the sub-menu as a new dropdown menu (see Add a Dropdown Menu).
  4. On the Menu Editor window, note the name of the menu you wish to use as a sub-menu.
  5. Click the name of the menu in which you would like the sub-menu to appear.  The Menu Settings window appears.
  6. Scroll down to the menu item from which you would like the sub-menu to appear.  In the Link Text box, type a space after the text already in the box, then type menu:{menu name} where {menu name} is the name of the sub-menu.
  7. When done, click Submit.  The Menu Settings window re-appears.
  8. Click Return to Menus.  The Menu Editor window appears.
  9. In the menu list, you should now see the words "submenu of..." next to the sub-menu you just added.
  10. Click Close This Window.
