The following policies apply to all classes LIAA offers.
Registration and PaymentWe must receive your registration information and payment on or before the registration deadline specified for a class session. We will not charge you for the class (i.e. charge your credit card or cash your check) until the day of the class. You should assume that a class for which you have registered will run unless we contact you and tell you otherwise.
Enrollment Minimums and MaximumsMost classes require a minimum enrollment in order to be scheduled. If you have registered for a class that has not met its minimum enrollment by the registration deadline, we will notify you by phone. Your registration fee will be fully refunded or may be credited for a future class session if you wish.
Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that the maximum enrollment for a class is exceeded, we will notify you that you are being placed on a waiting list. We will notify you up to one business day prior to the class if an opening has become available. If not, your registration fee will be fully refunded or may be credited for a future class session if you wish.
Cancellation and AttendanceYou may cancel your registration up to the registration deadline for a full refund. If you must cancel your registration after the registration deadline, but prior to the day of the class, we will refund 80% of the registration fee. If you are not in attendance at the time the class starts, we will make an attempt to phone you. However, if you do not attend the class and you do not notify us, we must still charge you the class fee.
