Barry has a passion for local community development and has served throughout Michigan as a City Planner, DDA Director, and Economic Developer. He has a B.S. from Michigan State University and an M.S. from Eastern Michigan University, both degrees in Urban & Regional Planning. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and joined LIAA in 2021 to help build sustainable and resilient communities.
