LIAA Safely Views the Eclipse

LIAA's staff and families view the eclipse through Rob Astor's telescope

LIAA's IT Specialist Rob Astor has a past as an astronomy and physics teacher, so everyone at LIAA and their families got as good of a look at the recent eclipse (only 75% here in Traverse City) thanks to Rob. Rob set up his telescope in our parking lot so that it would project a view of the sun inside a box: A shaded view giving you a safe look at the progress of the eclipse in real time. You could even see the clouds go by!

Thanks to Rob for all he brings to us here at LIAA!
