LIAA is working with stakeholders in Mount Pleasant, Midland and surrounding jurisdictions to create a water trail designation for a portion of the Chippewa River. This designation will help the community plan for the economic, social and environmental contributions that the river provides the area. LIAA will work closely with community members and stakeholders representing a variety of interests to create a plan that represents a range of local interests and perspectives.
